Holistic healing, Yoga, Craniosacral Therapy and Jin Shin Jyutsu in St. Albans and surrounding areas in Hertfordshire

More about Nicola Kent BA, ITEC, RCST, MIPTI

"To heal is to touch with love that which we have previously touched with fear" (Stephen Levine)

My own search for healing, self-awareness and freedom led me to experience the power of touch, in the form of healing and massage. I was so inspired by their positive and transformative effect on my physical, emotional and spiritual health that I changed career and have dedicated my life work to understand the deep connection between mind and body, and ability we all have to become our own healer. By listening to the wisdom of the body, the root cause of symptoms reveal themselves, thus allowing for they system to reset itself and health to more fully expressed.

I have worked professionally as a therapist for over 24 years, and during that time have developed a unique style of healing, which is deeply transformative and interweaves all that I have learnt and integrated within myself. I have trained in Healing, Craniosacral Therapy, Yoga and Jin Shin Jyutsu (see more detail below), and have found that these more subtle approaches facilitate a deep positive change.

I have a deep understanding and respect for the body, mind and spirit, and their interconnection, and offer healing and intuitive touch in a supportive and safe environment. My treatments are integrative and are adapted for each client, to help them utilise their own healing capacity more deeply.

I specialise in supporting those with chronic health conditions as well as those suffering from emotional trauma, such as loss, anxiety, PTSD etc.

I am fully qualified, insured and supervised in my work and continue to participate in courses to update and refine my skills.

My passion for meditation and yoga helps me to sustain the peace and freedom I have discovered along my journey.

Other passions include being in nature, animals, sustainable living, open water swimming and devotional singing.
